Arunachal Pradesh Himalayan Escape is an 8-day Arunachal Pradesh tour package covering Tezpur, Dirang, Tawang, Bomdila and Guwahati. Experience the majestic Tawang Monastery, Sela Pass, Jaswant Garh, Bum La Pass and Sangetsar Lake while travelling through some of Northeast India's most spectacular Himalayan landscapes. Day-wise itinerary

1. Day 1: Guwahati – Tezpur | Gateway to Arunachal Pradesh

   Arrive at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, where our representative will meet you. Begin your scenic journey towards Tezpur, known for its historical significance and beautiful surroundings.
   
   On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Depending on arrival time, you may explore nearby attractions.
   
   Overnight Stay: Tezpur

2. Day 2: Tezpur – Dirang | Himalayan Valley Journey

   After breakfast, check out and drive towards Dirang, a picturesque Himalayan valley surrounded by mountains and lush landscapes.
   
   Enjoy the scenic journey through the foothills of Arunachal Pradesh. En route, admire the changing landscapes, rivers and mountain villages.
   
   On arrival in Dirang, check in to your hotel and relax. If time permits, explore the local surroundings.

3. Day 3: Dirang – Tawang | Sela Pass & Himalayan Landscapes

   After breakfast, begin your journey towards Tawang, one of Arunachal Pradesh's most spectacular destinations.
   
   En route, visit the breathtaking Sela Pass, subject to weather and road conditions. Continue through the dramatic Himalayan landscape and stop at Jaswant Garh War Memorial.
   
   Later, arrive in Tawang and check in to your hotel.

4. Day 4: Tawang Sightseeing | Monastery & Local Attractions

   After breakfast, enjoy a full-day Tawang sightseeing tour.
   
   Visit the magnificent Tawang Monastery, one of the largest Buddhist monasteries in India. Explore the monastery complex and experience the peaceful atmosphere of this important centre of Tibetan Buddhism.
   
   Later, visit local attractions such as Tawang War Memorial and other nearby viewpoints, subject to time and local conditions.

5. Day 5: Tawang | Bum La Pass & Sangetsar Lake Excursion

   After an early breakfast, proceed for an exciting excursion towards Bum La Pass, located near the India-China border, subject to permit, weather and army regulations.
   
   En route, visit the stunning Sangetsar Lake, popularly known as Madhuri Lake, surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery.
   
   Return to Tawang after the excursion and spend the evening at leisure.

6. Day 6: Tawang – Bomdila | Return Through the Himalayas

   After breakfast, check out and begin your scenic drive towards Bomdila.
   
   Enjoy the beautiful mountain roads and changing landscapes as you descend from the high-altitude Tawang region.
   
   On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. If time permits, explore the local market or monastery area.
   
   Overnight Stay: Bomdila

7. Day 7: Bomdila – Guwahati | Scenic Return Journey

   After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Guwahati.
   
   Enjoy the scenic journey through the Himalayan foothills and Assam's green landscapes. On arrival in Guwahati, check in to your hotel.
   
   The evening is free for leisure or optional local sightseeing.

8. Day 8: Guwahati | Departure
