About the tour

Nepal Heritage, Wildlife & Himalayan Escape is a 7-day Nepal tour package covering Kathmandu, Chitwan and Pokhara. Explore ancient temples and Buddhist stupas in Kathmandu, enjoy wildlife and Tharu cultural experiences in Chitwan, and discover Pokhara's stunning Himalayan landscapes, Sarangkot sunrise and Phewa Lake. This Nepal holiday package is ideal for families, couples, nature lovers and adventure travellers.

Day-wise itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu | Temples & Spiritual Heritage

   Arrive at Kathmandu International Airport, where our representative will welcome and assist you with arrival formalities.
   
   Transfer to your hotel for check-in and some relaxation.
   
   Later, visit the magnificent Boudhanath Stupa, one of Nepal's most important Buddhist landmarks. In the evening, visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple and experience the spiritual atmosphere of the evening Aarti, subject to temple timings and local regulations.
   
   Return to your hotel.
   
   Overnight Stay: Kathmandu

   Meals: Dinner

2. Day 2: Kathmandu – Chitwan | Tharu Culture & Sunset

   After breakfast, check out and drive to Chitwan, approximately 150 km away and around 6–7 hours depending on road and traffic conditions.
   
   On arrival, check in to your hotel/resort and have lunch.
   
   Later, visit a traditional Tharu Village to experience the local culture and lifestyle.
   
   In the evening, enjoy a beautiful sunset experience followed by a traditional Tharu cultural stick dance performance, subject to local arrangements.
   
   Overnight Stay: Chitwan

   Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

3. Day 3: Chitwan National Park | Jungle Safari Experience

   After breakfast, enjoy a full day of exciting Chitwan jungle activities.
   
   Experience a canoe ride on the Rapti River, where you may spot crocodiles and various bird species. Continue with a jungle walk and visit the Elephant Breeding Centre.
   
   The itinerary also includes an elephant safari experience as specified in the package, subject to local regulations and availability.
   
   Return to your resort and relax after an exciting day in the wilderness.
   
   Overnight Stay: Chitwan

4. Day 4: Chitwan – Pokhara | Manakamana Temple & Cable Car

   After breakfast, check out and drive towards Pokhara, approximately 150 km and around 7–8 hours depending on road conditions.
   
   En route, visit the revered Manakamana Temple. Enjoy a scenic cable car ride to the temple and seek blessings.
   
   Continue your journey towards Pokhara.
   
   On arrival, check in to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely walk around the vibrant Lakeside Market.
   
   Overnight Stay: Pokhara

5. Day 5: Sarangkot Sunrise & Pokhara Sightseeing

   Start your day early with a drive to Sarangkot to witness the spectacular sunrise over the Himalayan ranges, subject to weather conditions.
   
   Return to the hotel for breakfast and continue with Pokhara sightseeing.
   
   Visit Bindabasini Temple, Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave and Seti River Gorge.
   
   Later, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Phewa Lake and visit the sacred Tal Barahi Temple located on an island in the lake.
   
   Return to your hotel.
   
   Overnight Stay: Pokhara

   Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

6. Day 6: Pokhara – Kathmandu | Cultural Heritage

   After breakfast, check out and drive back to Kathmandu.
   
   On arrival, proceed for sightseeing covering attractions such as Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), Jal Narayan Temple and Boudhanath Stupa, subject to time and local conditions.
   
   Later, transfer to your hotel for check-in and relaxation.
   
   Overnight Stay: Kathmandu

7. Day 7: Kathmandu | Departure

   After breakfast, enjoy some free time depending on your flight schedule.
   
   Later, transfer to Kathmandu International Airport for your onward journey.
