Day-wise itinerary

1. Day 1: Bagdogra – Phuentsholing | Gateway to Bhutan Approx. 155 km

   Arrive at Bagdogra Airport and meet our representative. Begin your scenic road journey towards Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan.
   
   Complete the necessary entry formalities and check in to your hotel.
   
   Spend the evening relaxing after the journey or exploring the local surroundings.

2. Day 2: Phuentsholing – Paro | Himalayan Journey Approx. 165 km

   After breakfast, check out and begin your scenic drive towards Paro, one of Bhutan's most beautiful valleys.
   
   Enjoy breathtaking mountain landscapes, traditional Bhutanese villages and winding Himalayan roads along the way.
   
   On arrival in Paro, check in to your hotel and relax.
   
   If time permits, take a leisurely walk around Paro town and explore its local shops and traditional Bhutanese architecture.

3. Day 3: Paro | Tiger's Nest Monastery Excursion Approx. 40 km

   After breakfast, prepare for one of the highlights of your Bhutan holiday — a visit to the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest).
   
   The monastery is dramatically perched on a cliff overlooking the Paro Valley. The hike involves a significant uphill walk and requires reasonable fitness.
   
   After completing the visit, return to Paro and spend the evening at leisure.

4. Day 4: Paro – Chele La Pass – Thimphu Approx. 120 km

   After breakfast, check out and drive towards Chele La Pass, one of Bhutan's highest motorable mountain passes.
   
   Enjoy spectacular views of the Himalayan ranges and surrounding valleys, subject to weather and road conditions.
   
   Continue towards Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.
   
   On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Later, explore the local market or take a leisurely walk around Thimphu town.

5. Day 5: Thimphu – Punakha Approx. 110 km

   After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan.
   
   En route, cross the scenic Dochula Pass, famous for its panoramic Himalayan views and the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens, subject to weather conditions.
   
   Continue towards Punakha and check in to your hotel.
   
   Later, visit Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan's most magnificent architectural landmarks, subject to opening timings and local regulations.

6. Day 6: Punakha – Phobjikha Valley – Punakha

   Approx. 160 km
   
   After breakfast, embark on a scenic excursion to Phobjikha Valley, a beautiful glacial valley surrounded by mountains and forests.
   
   Explore the peaceful valley and visit Gangtey Monastery, an important centre of Nyingmapa Buddhist tradition.
   
   Phobjikha is also famous as a winter habitat of the black-necked cranes, generally seen during their seasonal migration.
   
   Later, return to Punakha.

7. Day 7: Punakha – Phuentsholing Approx. 235 km

   After breakfast, check out and begin your return journey towards Phuentsholing.

8. Day 8: Phuentsholing – Bagdogra Airport Approx. 155 km

   After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.

• The Tiger's Nest hike requires physical effort; comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
• Chele La and Dochula Pass can experience cold and windy weather, so warm clothing is advisable.
• Sightseeing may be rearranged depending on local conditions, opening hours and weather.
• Black-Necked Crane sightings are seasonal and cannot be guaranteed.
